Design Thinking

Creative problem-solving that uses empathy, ideation, prototyping, testing, and feedback to develop solutions.

iTech

This program gives students a competitive advantage for the future by using advanced technology to solve real-world challenges.
 

Dual Enrollment

Dual enrollment is a program that allows high school students to take college-level courses, earning credit for both their high school diploma and a future college degree or certificate. 

AVID

AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) is a K-12 college readiness program and elective class designed to help students succeed in rigorous courses, such as AP or IB, and prepare for higher education.

Academic Excellence

We are one of two WCPSS schools offering the CTE courses Drone Fundamentals and Drone Technology I.

Accredited hands-on engineering courses with the potential to earn college credit and attain eligibility for the North Carolina Triangle Apprenticeship Program (NCTAP) apprenticeship as industry-ready graduates.

Project-based STEM course that focuses on design-thinking, engineering, and technology to solve real-world problems in our community.

Courses include four levels of automotive courses. The program received a $5,000 gift from Advance Auto in 2025.
